Inactive Accounts with Balance Report
The Inactive Accounts with Balance Report provides users with a list of all inactive accounts that have a non-zero balance and are past the due date of their final bills.
Once generated, this report can be reviewed for account and customer contact information, relevant dates, and account balances. Also, for delinquent customers who have moved from one location to another within the same service area, the Transferred To column indicates the new accounts to which the old balances can be transferred, allowing for easier collection of money owed.
Note: “Transferred To” information is only provided for transfer customers, i.e., customers who have been moved via the Move In process from one location to another location within the same service area.

Running the Report
Utility Management > Reports > Delinquency > Inactive Accounts with Balances
- Open the Inactive Accounts with Balance Report screen. See navigation path above.
- The optional Move Out Date After field allows you to limit the report to inactive accounts with Move Out dates later than the date entered in this field.

For example, if you enter “12/31/2014” in this field, the report will list all inactive accounts that have remaining debt and a Move Out date later than 12/31/2014.
If this field is left blank, all inactive accounts with remaining debt will be included in the report regardless of their Move Out date.
- Select Print to generate the report.
Accounts are organized first by Move Out Date and then by Account Number.
If the account to which the balance can be transferred is know, it will appear in the Transferred To column.
